We found out today that the embryo (there was only one) has no heartbeat, so it isn't viable. We're sad, but are doing ok, all things considered. We've got two embryos that we froze at the time we transferred the others into Kathy, and in the next few months we'll try again with them.

Aaron,
I am sorry. I hope you both can take it easy this weekend. We are thinking of you and praying for you both.
It might not help now but I have a couple of friends who tried and tried and tried to get pregnant and ended up with a loss the first time too. Those friends all went on to have two and three healthy pregnancies afterwards.
I don't know why the timing wasn't right but the right time--the perfect time--will come!
There are no words appropriate to the situation, Aaron. Just letting you know that I read the post, and my heart goes out to you.

Oh dear, i'm so sorry.
Oh, how very sad. I am so sorry. I ache to say something more profound, but Q is right: words are insufficient. Warm thoughts head your way.
Aaron and Kathy,
I am so very sorry.
May you both find peace while on that terrible rollercoaster of healing, and find the courage to keep trying.
My thoughts are with you,
Katherine
As lots of others stated before ...there a are no words appropriate to the situation. But I send hugs, positive vibes and a lot of thoughts other the ocean!
Huge Hug
Nat
I am so sorry at this news, Kathy and Aaron. I have no comparable experience to what you both are going though - I offer my deepest sympathies and hope the magic of life happens shortly.
Your friends,
Lori and Todd
